Exchange Your Coins Using ShapeShift

Trezor

You'll need a wallet for your new coins. Go here to learn more about wallets. Note that your public Ethereum addess can be used as the destination address for any ERC20 token. If you are converting between two ERC20 tokens in the same wallet, the destination address and the refund address will be identical.

How It Works

  1. Let's say you want to convert Bitcoin to Ether. First select the two coins from the dropdowns above.
  2. You will then provide your Ether address from your Ether wallet in the top box (destination address). You can optionally provide your Bitcoin address (refund address) and an email address.Then click the "Convert" button.
  3. ShapeShift will generate a Bitcoin deposit address for you (this is the address you will send your bitcoin from your bitcoin wallet to). Please send your bitcoin to this generated address.
  4. That's it. In a few moments, your Ether will be quickly sent to you.
